WATCH | Breaking Up with Bill C-5

Join us for a deep-dive webinar on Bill C-5 and what it means for Indigenous communities, climate policy, and so-called Canada’s climate commitments heading into COP30.

This teach-in brings together Indigenous leaders and advocates to unpack how the government’s idea of “Building Canada” actually just maintains extractive, colonial systems – and redwashes the whole thing through structures like the “Indigenous Advisory Council.” Through open discussions and critical reflections, we’ll explore how Bill C-5 connects to Canada’s climate commitments, both nationally and internationally in spaces like COP30.
